For heavy flat bed work, it’s hard to beat the Seiko TH-8B.  With the ability to sew extremely heavy thanks to it’s shuttle hook, the CH-8B is favored by manufacturers for sewing heavy weight materials such as canvas, vinyl, leather, synthetics, and various coated, laminated, and rubberized fabrics.  It is used primarily in the manufacturing of tents, sails, harnesses, straps, safety belts, parachutes, industrial bags, book bindings, suitcases, and other extra heavy applications.  Sold as a complete unit with 750W, 1HP servo motor.
